Questions

The things people ask first.

What it is

Is this an accountancy firm?

No. It is software. It does not replace an accountant, and no accountant has reviewed it yet.

Does it file my accounts and tax return?

No. It does not file anything on its own. It prepares the accounts, the CT600 values and the workings as a pack that an owner approves, and gives you a guide and a bundle of files for filing on the official services yourself or through your accountant.

Is it registered with HMRC or Companies House?

No.

Which companies is it for?

UK private limited companies whose business is letting property, including HMOs. It makes micro-entity (FRS 105) accounts only. Whether your company qualifies is for the directors to confirm.

Using it

Which bank statements can I upload?

CSV, OFX and QFX files, and PDF statements as a last resort. Statements must be in pounds sterling, one bank account to a file. A spreadsheet needs exporting as CSV first.

What does the AI do?

It suggests a category for a payment. It does not work out tax or any other figure, and anything it is unsure about goes to a review queue for you. Transaction descriptions are sent to the model to do this.

Can my accountant use it?

Yes. Add them by email address with the accountant role. They can look at everything and change nothing in the books.

How do I sign in?

With your email address and a six-digit code that is sent to it. There is no password.

The figures

Can I trust the tax figures?

They are worked out from your reviewed books by fixed rules, and checked against HMRC's published validation rules. But no accountant has reviewed the calculations, so treat them as a working draft and have them checked before you file.

Are the tax computations complete for every period?

For a period ending after 31 March 2026 the tax computation is not tagged in iXBRL yet. The pack still has the accounts, the CT600 values and the workings, and says so.

Your data and the cost

How do I get my data out, or have it deleted?

An owner can download a copy of everything held for the account from the account page. Anybody can ask for their own details to be erased. Accounting records have to be kept for years, so an account's books stay, but they no longer say who you are.

What does it cost?

Nothing during early access. A price will be set, and published, before billing opens.

Try it on your own books

Free during early access. An account takes an email address and a code: there is no password, no card to enter, and nothing is charged.
